Ways To Support Crisis Assistance Ministry

At Bethesda it is our selected month to support Crisis Assistance Ministry (CAM).  We have been doing this for many years so here's how it goes:  You can support CAM with a monetary gift during our worship service. Just mark your giving envelope or give your donation to any church officer. Every time you shop for groceries buy a few of the items on CAM's list.

On July 9 bring packaged items like cereal, spaghetti, mac and cheese, powdered milk

On July 16 bring paper products like paper towels, tissue, bathroom tissue, napkins

On July 23 bring household items and/or personal care items like detergent, soap, diapers

On July 30 take a look at the list and bring one of each item listed that you have not brought on a previous Sunday

Checks made out to Bethesda and mailed to 3714 S. New Hope Rd., Gastonia, NC 28056 are really nice.

Crisis Assistance Ministry - CAM

A volunteer driven organization, CAM can't function efficiently without adequate volunteers. They use volunteers as receptionists, client interviewers, and in the food pantry. It takes 14 volunteers daily to cover their volunteer needs. They would happily schedule an orientation at our church if there are several people interested in learning more about CAM's volunteer program. Please contact the CAM office, 704-867-8901 for further information.
